Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Baghdad, on Monday , on an official visit.
"Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Baghdad on an official visit for the first time in 13 years ", said the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The visit is of great importance in light of the need to discuss many common issues that require finding solutions, especially the issues of water and oil exports from Kurdistan region, the development road, economic and banking cooperation and the Joint Security file.
It is expected that the visit will witness the signing of bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding in bilateral and strategic files, while the Government confirms that the water and economic cooperation files, especially the development road, will be the most prominent issues to be discussed, while experts believe that the visit will support the Government's vision in implementing projects and establishing strategic partnerships through cooperation with neighboring countries as well as zeroing crises through resolving outstanding files.
