President Rashid: Nineveh restored its glory ,opened up new horizons of hope

    President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid affirmed on Saturday, that Nineveh has returned firmly to reclaim its glory and civilization and to open up new horizons of hope, indicating the establishment of a specialized directorate for governorate affairs within the Presidency of the Republic.

     

    A statement from the media office of the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "On behalf of President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, the Head of the Presidential Office, Kamel Al-Dulaimi, attended the Spring Festival, held today Saturday in Mosul under the slogan (Spring is a message of peace and a brightness of civilization."

     

    The statement added that "The Head of the Office delivered a speech on behalf of the President of the Republic, conveying through it the greetings and sincere congratulations of the President and his prayers for the continued security, happiness, and joy of the citizens," recalling "the sacrifices of the Iraqi martyrs whose pure blood soaked the land of Nineveh during the liberation operations from the clutches of terrorism."
     
    The President of the Republic emphasized in his speech, "the follow-up of governorate affairs, his concern for security, services, economy, and the needs of citizens in each governorate through the establishment of a specialized directorate for governorate affairs within the Presidency of the Republic, to follow up with the executive authorities the requirements of the governorates."
     
    He pointed out that "Nineveh, after years of deprivation, killing, and terrorism, returns with strength to regain its glory and ancient civilization, opening up new horizons of hope for a bright and radiant future, amid a wide campaign of reconstruction 
     
    At the end of the speech, the President of the Republic renewed "his congratulations to the citizens on this happy occasion," extending his greetings to "all the staff of Nineveh Governorate for their security, engineering, and service efforts, thanking the international and local organizations and all the parties that contributed to the reconstruction of this governorate and provided advice and support."
