Al-Sudani Meets a Group of the Iraqi Community in Houston

    Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today, Thursday, with a group of the Iraqi community in Houston, Texas, during his official visit to the United States. 
     
    He listened to their living conditions and proposals which all aim to serve their home country.
     
    The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA),”in his remarks, Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the government's commitment to connecting with the Iraqi communities everywhere, highlighting their essential skills and capacities needed across all sectors.”
     
     He announced, “The upcoming establishment of an expatriates' department linked directly to the Prime Minister’s Office to better address the needs and situations raised by the Iraqi communities abroad.”
     
    He remarked on Iraq's recovery and progress toward the right direction, particularly after the unified struggle against ISIS, which consolidated the unity and resilience of all Iraqi people and steered the country towards stability and development.
     
    Prime Minister Al-Sudani affirmed,” that Iraq is now on a path of reconstruction, development, and infrastructure achievements—a reality that might not be fully visible internationally.”
     
     He outlined,” the economic and social revival currently underway in the country.”
     
    He also explained,” that his current visit to the U.S. aims to solidify the foundation for a lasting bilateral relationship based on sustainable mutual interests ,his government has achieved a significant portion of its governmental program, enhancing public trust in governmental and service apparatuses, which strengthens stability and fosters development projects and priorities.”
     
    The Prime Minister emphasized Iraq as a land of opportunities, with potential projects valued at $400 billion by international standards. He praised the Iraqi community in America for their important and high-quality contributions, expressing pride in their achievements and anticipating their participation in Iraq’s reconstruction and prosperity.
