PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani discussed on Tuesday, with the US General Dynamics Corp cooperation within the framework of the government’s efforts and steps towards rebuilding military capabilities in the field of armament.
Al-Sudani received, at his residence in Washington D.C., a delegation from General Dynamics, which is considered one of the largest US companies that manufacture weapons and military equipment, according to a statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
During the meeting, cooperation with the company was discussed, within the framework of the government's efforts and steps towards rebuilding its military capabilities in the field of tank and armored weapons.
It also included cooperation to complete a large workshop to maintain and develop tanks to make them compatible with Iraqi fields and airspace.
They also agreed upon launching a group of initiatives with General Dynamics Corp in the near future, which comes within the government’s plans to develop the military institution and support it with various types of modern weapons.
