The Parliament declares its support for Prime Minister's visit to the United States

The House of Representatives announced, on Monday, its support for the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani to the United States, calling for confirmation of the completion of the implementation of the strategic framework agreement.

"The House of Representatives and people representatives look with high confidence at the high-level Iraqi delegation that is visiting the United States these days headed by the Prime Minister ", the Parliament's Media Department said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The statement added that " the Council affirms its support for Government efforts that seek to achieve the interests of the people, their sovereignty and prosperity" ,calling on "the Iraqi delegation to confirm the completion of the implementation of the strategic framework agreement voted by the House of Representatives 13 years ago, especially in the fields of development, scientific exchange, investments and energy”.

The council expressed the hope that" Iraqi people will see positive results that increase the security and prosperity".
