President Rashid Offers Condolences on Anniversary of Sayyed Mohammed Baqir Al-Sadr's Martyrdom

"On the anniversary of the martyrdom of His Eminence the martyr Mohammed Baqir al-Sadr and the fall of the dictatorial regime, we recall the great sacrifices made by the martyr al-Sadr in confronting a despotic regime that oppressed Iraqis for decades, during which Iraqis from various sects made various sacrifices to rid themselves of it,” said president Rashid on X platform, formerly Twitter.

 

"On this occasion, it is necessary to emphasize the importance of national unity among all, political forces, and social activities to protect the achievements and adhere to the highest national interest of all Iraqis, and to prevent the recurrence of the tragedies of the past,” he added.
