The Iraq Fund For Assets Recovery (IFAR )announced ,on Sunday ,the recovery of about $2 million from the Railway Company's account for the former regime.
IFAR deputy chief, Ayman Daoud Salman, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): " The Iraq Fund For Assets Recovery (IFAR ) was able to recover about two million dollars from the account of the railway company of the former regime”.
He added that "these accounts belong to the general railway company within the projects of the plan, which amounted to 1,918,486 US dollars, which is equivalent to 2,267,645,000 Iraqi dinars".
"These amounts have been returned to the Ministry of Finance's account in the Central Bank of Iraq "he added.
