MOH and a Qatari company sign a contract to manage, run, and maintain Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital

    The signing of a contract to manage, operate, and maintain Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital was announced by Health Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi on Thursday. Qatari Ambassador to Iraq Sultan bin Mubarak Al-Kubaisi confirmed that this company is among the most significant large companies that oversee the most significant hospitals in Doha.
     
     
    "An agreement was signed today for the management, operation and maintenance of Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital between the Ministry of Health, represented by the Dhi Qar Health Department, and the Qatari Elegancia Company, a subsidiary of the Qatari Investment Group," stated Al-Hasnawi at a press conference held today that the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) was present at. Moreover, "this contract is part of a series of contracts signed by the Ministry of Health with major companies to manage large hospitals, which have a capacity of 492 beds."
     
     
     "This measure is part of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani's government program," he continued, citing the "completion of the management of five hospitals and the sixth on the way." 
    Announcing that "the State of Qatar is heading to join with the Republic of Iraq in all fields, the most important of which is the Ministry of Health," Sultan bin Mubarak Al-Kubaisi, the ambassador of Qatar to Iraq, congratulated the parties "on the occasion of signing the contract."
     
      He declared, "This Company is among the most significant large Qatari companies that oversees the most significant hospitals in Doha."
