Prime Minister Mohammad Shia Al-Sudani opened today, Wednesday, Cordoba Bridge in central Baghdad.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mohammad Shia Al-Sudani opened Cordoba Intersection Bridge in Al-Bab Al-Sharqi in central Baghdad, one of the projects of the first package to relieve traffic congestion, which was completed within 200 working days."
Al-Sudani said in his speech during the opening of the Cordoba Bridge: Followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA). “We congratulate the people of Baghdad who endured for 200 days, but it is a temporary suffering to reach this achievement,” indicating that “this project came within a previous diagnosis.”
He added, "Traffic congestion does not fit with the image of Baghdad, as the capital, Baghdad, deserves to be in its most beautiful image."
“I extend my thanks to the Ministry of Construction, its minister, and its staff, as the Cordoba Bridge was completed in an urban manner for the first time.” Al-Sudani said.
