The Iraqi Fund for Recovery declared on Monday that it had located and restored Republican Guard accounts in the previous regime, totaling over 4 billion dinars.
The Iraqi News Agency (INA) was informed by Ayman Daoud Salman, the Deputy Chairman of the Fund's Board of Directors, that "the Fund was able to uncover dormant accounts belonging to the Republican Guard in the former regime worth 4,386,303,138 Iraqi dinars and return them to the accounts of the Ministry of Finance in the Central Bank of Iraq."
