Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani Inspects Work on Traffic Congestion Relief Project at Al-Nisour Square and Shares a Ramadan Suhoor with Workers on Site

    In the early hours of Wednesday, Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani conducted an inspection tour at the site of Al-Nisour Square project, one of the traffic congestion relief projects in the west of Baghdad. He was accompanied by the Minister of Construction, Housing, Municipalities, and Public Works, and officials from the executing company, China Railway.
     
    “Prime Minister Al-Sudani joined the site workers, the project's resident engineer department staff, the engineering consultant staff, and the employees of the executing company for a Ramadan Suhoor. He expressed appreciation for their continuous 24-hour effort, organized in three shifts daily, aimed at accelerating the project's completion to enter service on schedule” according to a statement by the PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
     
    “In a speech to the workers, Al-Sudani emphasized the significance of this project as one of the most crucial and precise for the movement of citizens in the capital, commending the efforts of the workers and the supporting agencies for maintaining teamwork spirit” the statement added.
     
    “The Prime Minister pointed out that the package of traffic congestion relief projects would help reduce citizens' time wastage, decrease pollution in the capital, and facilitate traffic flow.. Al-Sudani affirmed the importance of adhering to engineering specifications in execution and stated that the government is committed to restarting halted projects across all provinces and sectors. More than 490 projects have swiftly resumed, delivering tangible results and demonstrating a clear commitment to progress, noticeable to the citizens ”the statement continued.
