PM calls for unifying Arab efforts and positions in order to end the suffering of the Palestinian people

    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani called today, Saturday, for unifying Arab efforts in order to end the suffering of the Palestinian people.

    The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani received the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who is currently visiting Iraq, to participate in the Arab Action Conference, which began today in Baghdad.".

    He added, "During the meeting, joint Arab action and the importance of activating its charters and agreements were discussed, especially related to economic integration and other agreements that enhance the strength and status of the Arab system, in a way that achieves the aspirations of Arab countries and peoples.".

    The Prime Minister renewed "Iraq's principled position on what is happening in the occupied Palestinian territories," stressing, "the need for Arab efforts and positions to be united in order to end the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people."
