PM condolences on the anniversary of the death of Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Hakim

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, today, Saturday, offered his condolences on the anniversary of the death of Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Hakim.

The Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of the passing of His Eminence Sayyid Abdul Aziz al-Hakim (God Rest His Soul), who spent many years in jihad and fighting dictatorship for the sake of a free and independent Iraq.”.

Sayyid Abdul Aziz al-Hakim played a significant role in building post-dictatorship Iraq and had a clear impact on establishing a democratic Iraq where all its citizens enjoy dignity, honor, and equality under the constitution and law.

We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to His Eminence Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, to the entire esteemed Al-Hakim family, and to all the loved ones and followers of the deceased Sayyid Abdul Aziz al-Hakim on this sorrowful occasion.
