PM: Government efforts continue to achieve justice for our people who have been subjected to injustice

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, confirmed on Saturday, the continuation of government efforts to provide justice to the Iraqi people who have been subjected to injustice, and to implement laws that support their rights.

On the 36th anniversary of the Halabja tragedy, we recall with deep sorrow that atrocity and its victims, a stark reminder of the former regime's brutality towards our Kurdish people and all Iraqis. This harrowing event remains etched in our hearts, motivating us to strengthen our democratic framework. The government continues its quest for justice, upholding and protecting the rights of those wronged. We honor the memory of Halabja's martyrs and all Iraqi martyrs.
