PM Al-Sudani receives the Parliamentary Services bloc

    INA - BAGHDAD

    Prime Minister Muhammed S. Al-Sudani met on Monday, with the head and members of the Parliamentary Services Bloc.

    Al-Sudani extended Ramadan greetings, hoping "the holy month brings blessings to all Iraqis", commending the formation of the Parliamentary Services Bloc, which aims "to support the government in implementing its service plans, aligning with the government program's priority on services," according to a statement by the PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    The meeting reviewed the progress of "major public service projects and the reconstruction of infrastructure across Iraq's provinces," emphasizing "the importance of continuous efforts in various service sectors and reinforcing the foundations of economic reform to meet citizens' needs and improve their social and living conditions."

    He highlighted, "the need for parliamentary support to implement the government's program, reflecting the executive authority's will and fulfilling citizens' aspirations" reiterating his call "for parliamentary committees to intensify their monitoring of project implementation and service delivery to maintain the momentum of work and serve the public interest."

    Members of the Parliamentary Services Bloc affirmed their commitment to supporting the government's service program, coordinating efforts with government institutions and political forces to achieve construction and reconstruction goals, provide job opportunities, and combat poverty.
