Capturing one of the involved in the Assassination of Thi Qar Intelligence Director in Karbala

Security forces arrested one of the wanted participants in the killing of Dhi Qar Intelligence Director Brigadier General Aziz Shalal in  Holy Karbala.
The correspondent for the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported that security forces in Holy Karbala have arrested one of the wanted individuals involved in the murder of the intelligence director in Thi Qar.
 
Earlier, the Ministry of Interior affirmed that the killer of Thi Qar's Intelligence And Counter-Terrorism Director, Colonel Aziz Shalal al-Shammari, would not escape legal accountability. A statement from the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), mentioned that the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Muqdad Meri, along with the commander of Thi Qar Police, Brigadier Maki Shnaa al-Khaikani, and their accompanying delegation, visited the family of the heroic martyr, Colonel Aziz Shalal al-Shammari.
 
The statement added that Colonel Muqdad Meri conveyed the minister's greetings and condolences to his family and loved ones, emphasizing that the martyr is a source of pride for the ministry. It was affirmed that the perpetrators would not escape legal accountability, and positive investigative results have been obtained. The statement concluded by asking Allah to grant the deceased a place in the highest heavens and to provide patience and solace to his family and loved ones."
