Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani Meets with Directors of Administrative Departments in North Basra

    “Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani chaired a meeting on Sunday morning in Al- Madina District in Basra, which included directors of administrative departments and units for the northern areas of Basra Governorate. The meeting was attended by local government officials and representatives of oil companies operating in the governorate” the Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

    “Prime Minister Al-Sudani reviewed the employment procedures of the youth in Al- Madina District within the local oil companies and directed the establishment of a training and qualification center funded by the companies. This center is to focus on equipping young people with skills and facilitating their employment in various oil sector specialties. He also instructed a review of the current employment mechanisms” the statement continued .

    “The Prime Minister also established a committee of federal ministry representatives to be stationed in the district, tasked with monitoring key issues and facilitating the provision of infrastructure services” the statement added.

    “The Prime Minister stated that the government allocated 166 billion Iraqi dinars, outside the governorate's allocations, to fund the construction of a medical city in Ezzedine Salim sub-district. This city will include the Martyr Ezzedine Salim General Hospital with a capacity of 100 beds, specialized centers for oncology, thalassemia, and dialysis, along with primary healthcare centers to serve the residents of the district and its surroundings” the statement added .
