Amr Salama, the secretary-general of the Association of Arab Universities, emphasized the importance of pursuing sustainable development goals in inclusive and equitable education on Monday.
During an interview conducted during the Rafidain Forum, Salama stated, "The Association of Arab Universities remains at the forefront of organizations. It began its march from Egypt in 1964 and moved between Cairo, Baghdad, and Riyadh." The interview was made at the forum which was attended by a reporter from the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
In addition, he emphasized that "we are working to find advanced solutions to strengthen the service of international and regional communities" and that "the Association is a gathering platform for Arab universities and aims to develop higher education and scientific research."
"In fair and inclusive education, we are striving to accomplish the Sustainable Development Goals," Salama emphasized.
