In honor of the thirty-third anniversary of the beginning of the Shabaan uprising, the Iraqi parliament opened an exhibition on Wednesday that details the crimes committed by the defunct regime.
"Deputy Speaker of the parliament Shakhiwan Abdullah, in the presence of an official opened the documentary exhibition of the crimes of the defunct regime on the occasion of the thirty-third anniversary of the start of the blessed Shabaan uprising," the parliament media office said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The exhibition was held in the courtyard of the council by the Committee of Martyrs, Victims and Political Prisoners and the State of Law parliamentary bloc, in co-operation with the Martyrs and Political Prisoners Foundations," the statement read.
