The head of the Security Media Cell, Major General Tahseen Al-Khafaji, confirmed today, Saturday, that the National Intelligence Service’s achievement of arresting two dangerous terrorists comes as part of an ongoing work to infiltrate and strike terrorist leaders fleeing abroad, arrest them, and take them into Iraq.
Al-Khafaji said in his speech to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The National Intelligence Service has achieved a series of important victories since the beginning of this year, as it was able to arrest a large number of organized crime and drug gangs, as well as hunt down the leaders of ISIS terrorist gangs abroad and take them into Iraq.”.
He added, "The recent heroic act in which two dangerous terrorists were arrested was carried out in implementation of the orders of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to arrest everyone involved in the shedding of Iraqi blood. This achievement came within the framework of continuous work to infiltrate terrorist leaders and arrest them, and it coincided with the The tenth anniversary day to liberate the city of Fallujah from terrorism."

The agency said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “With the personal follow-up of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, and exceptional efforts and intelligence tracking that continued for years, the heroes of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service were able to arrest two of the most dangerous ISIS terrorist leaders involved in the most horrific terrorist crimes in Iraq in a specific operation outside the Iraqi borders.
The statement added, “They were taken to Iraq and they are:
Issam Abd Ali Saedan, alias (Abu Zaid), a journalist for the so-called Fallujah Province, who was involved in the slaughter of the martyr soldier Kazem Al-Rikabi, who is responsible for managing all media activities of terrorist gangs in Fallujah after the year 2014, and who is involved in documenting a lot among the terrorist crimes, the most prominent of which was the killing of the two martyred soldiers, Mustafa Al-Adhari and Samir Murad Al-Dalawi.
Bashir Abd Ali Saedan, alias (Abu Ahmed Etisalat), a soldier of the so-called Fallujah Province, who was responsible for all ISIS terrorist operations in Fallujah after the year 2014, He was responsible for securing and encrypting the communications of terrorist gang leaders.”
