The Imam Ali (PBUH) Holy Shrine's General Secretariat announced Thursday, that it has started special preparations to commemorate the Prophet's Messengership and that the plan it made has come into effect.
"The Holy Shrine has mobilized its efforts in preparation for the anniversary of the Prophet's Messengership by providing the best services to the honorable pilgrims coming to the shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) to commemorate this great occasion," said Haider Rahim, director of the media office at the shrine, in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency (INA). "The shrine mobilized its human and logistical cadres, that is, more than 3,000 volunteers who provide services to pilgrims under the supervision and follow-up of the shrine itself."
"There are intensive preparations conducted by the security departments, which is one of the first concerns of the shrine," Rahim continued. "These services, events and programs included the availability of awareness lectures, special programs by intellectual and cultural seminars and activities for childhood." "There are also service aspects and the availability of vehicles to receive pilgrims and deliver them to the areas prepared for their transportation."
