Oil Ministry confirmed, on Friday, that last month's revenues amounted to more than $8 billion.
According to a ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) "Total exports and revenues earned for January, according to the preliminary statistical released by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SUMO), amounted to 103 million (508) thousand and (438) barrels, with revenues of 8 billion and 25 million (616) dollars.
"The total exports of crude oil for last January from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (102) million and (25) thousand barrels, while exports to Jordan amounted to (464) thousand and (306) barrels, while exports from Qairah were (1) million and (19) thousand and (132) barrels "the statement added.
"The rate of daily quantities exported was (3) million, (338) thousand and (982) barrels , while the rate per barrel was (77,536) dollars "the statement added.
