The Ministry of Oil announced on Monday, that the oil revenues for the month of June amounted to more than six billion dollars.
A statement by the Ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that the total exports and revenues achieved for last June, and according to the final statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company "SOMO", the number of exports of crude oil amounted to (86) million (765) thousand and (589) barrels, with revenues amounting to (6) billion (143) million and (106) thousand dollars.
The statement added that "the total quantities exported of crude oil for the month of June from oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (83) million (690) thousand and (352) barrels, while from the Kirkuk fields through the port of Ceyhan, the exported quantities amounted to (3) million. And (75) thousand and (237) barrels,” noting that “the average price per barrel amounted to (70,801) dollars, pointing out that the exported quantities were loaded by (30) international companies of different nationalities, from the ports of Basra, Khor al-Amaya, mono-buoys on the Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan."
The statement also explained that the quantities and revenues of exported crude oil shipments that were marketed at a price premium to achieve additional revenue during the month of June, totaling more than 55 million 450 thousand and 194 dollars."
