Iraq and Jordan stressed on Tuesday, the importance of keeping the region away from military threats.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein made a phone call with the Hashemite Kingdom of Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
During the call, the recent bombing that affected the Jordanian lands and a US military site was discussed, as the Foreign Minister expressed "Iraq condemns what happened."
The statement included, "They emphasized the depth of the Iraqi-Jordanian relationship and the need to keep the two countries and the region away from the military threats by any party."
