The head of the Federal Commission of Integrity -FCOI, Judge Haider Hanoun, stressed the need for concerted official and societal efforts to improve the security situation in the country and achieve the highest level of stability.
“FCOI Commissioner, during his meeting with the Commander of Maysan Operations, Major General Sabah Al-Azzawi, stressed “the importance of cooperation between the supervisory and security agencies in the country," stated FCOI in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA. He called for "intensifying coordination between these agencies, especially with regard to the implementation of judicial seizure and arrest orders."
“Achieving security and execution of judicial orders contribute to eliminating the phenomenon of extortion and bargaining of investors, and provide a clean investment environment attractive to the foreign investor," Judge Hanoun said.
For his part, Maysan Ops Commander, Major General Sabah Al-Azzawi, expressed his “readiness to cooperate with the FCOI’s investigation office in Maysan, especially with regard to the implementation of judicial orders for those accused in corruption cases.”
