Baghdad ship to Gaza loaded with 10 million liters of fuel

    Iraqi News Agency - INA documented on Monday, the moment of Iraq sending 10 million liters of fuel in Baghdad ship as it arrived in the Gaza Strip.

    The Baghdad ship arrived in the Palestinian territories in Gaza loaded with 10 million liters of fuel via the meeting point the Egyptian Suez Canal, according to INA reporter.

    He added, "The delivery process took place in the presence of the head of the Red Crescent Org, Sattar Al-Jabri, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade."

    Previously, the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yehia Rasoul, announced upon "an Iraqi ship loaded with ten million liters of fuel sent to the besieged Gaza Strip via international waters towards the Sinai seaport."
    Rasoul said in a statement to INA, “Under the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammed S. Al-Sudani, and the decision of the Cabinet, an Iraqi ship carrying ten million liters of fuel was launched, via the national carrier, across international waters towards Sinai seaportو" pointing out that "this amount of fuel is intended for our people who are besieged in the Gaza Strip."

    "The procedures and coordination have been completed at a high level with the Egyptian authorities. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces has continued to support our besieged people in the Gaza Strip," Rasoul included, noting, "this work came about with concerted efforts through the Committee for Receiving and Operating Donations to the Gaza Strip, represented by the PM Advisor, Zidane Al-Atwani, and the membership of representatives of the Ministry of Defense, as well as the Red Crescent, the Iraqi Intelligence Service, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Popular Mobilization Forces."
    He stressed, "The directive continues to support the Gaza Strip, and there is high coordination taking place via the Iraqi Red Crescent to deliver relief and medical materials through this ship loaded with fuel to the Egyptian Red Crescent, and then coordination with the Palestinian Red Crescent."
