Iraq losses in a friendly match to South Korea by a single goal

The national team lost, today, Saturday, to its Korean counterpart, 1-0.

The Iraqi News Agency (INA) correspondent said: “This match is the last test match for our national team before entering the Asian Championship competitions, scheduled in Qatar on the 12th of this month.”.

He added, "The match took place at New York University Stadium, in Saadiyat, in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi," noting that, "The goal of the match came from player Lee Jae-sung in the 40th minute.".

It is noteworthy that our national team will play in the fourth group of the Asian Championship alongside the teams of Indonesia, Japan and Vietnam.”.
