The Ministry of Oil announced on Tuesday, that the technical and engineering staff of the Iraqi Drilling Company completed the drilling and reclamation of 199 oil wells during the past year 2023.
“The company’s technical and engineering staff completed the drilling 67 oil wells, in addition to the restoration of 132 oil wells, during the past year 2023 in the Iraqi oil fields in the cities of the north and center and the south,” said the Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Khalid Hamza Abbas, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
Abbas pointed to "the national effort of the company's technical and engineering teams have accumulated experience and skill, as they rely on modern methods in internationally approved drilling operations, and their commitment to quality performance and health, safety and environmental standards," adding, "this came in accordance with the requirements of the standard specifications of the integrated management system that the company applies."
