Al-Sudani Heads Regular Meeting of the Service and Engineering Effort Team

    Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency INA that “Prime Minister Al-Sudani led a meeting with the Service and Engineering Effort Team and reviewed the report on the progress of implementation and the completed work at various sites and projects across Baghdad and the governorates for the years 2022 and 2023.”
     
    “Prime Minister Al-Sudani received a comprehensive presentation on the projects' status, progress rates, identified obstacles, and the necessary measures to ensure the projects' smooth continuation. He also reviewed the bills of quantities related to the projects until the end of the current year,” the statement noted.
     
    Prime Minister Al-Sudani acknowledged in the statement “the exceptional work of the Service and Engineering Effort Team,” highlighting “its ability to minimize project costs, reduce completion times, overcome obstacles, and maintain momentum across all team formations.”
     
    According to the statement, Al-Sudani emphasized “the significance of conducting technical evaluations for completed projects, as advised by the Iraqi Engineers Union,” indicating that “project approval should only occur after undergoing thorough engineering examinations and adhering to established standards.”
     
    The statement remarked that “Prime Minister Al-Sudani made it clear that cost reduction should not compromise quality and efficiency standards.”
     
    “Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the government's commitment to the slogan of completing all delayed projects, declaring that 2024 will be dedicated to achieving this goal,” the statement concluded.
