The Head of the Communications and Media Commission - CMC Ali Al-Muwayid signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chinese company Huawei in the field of cybersecurity and capacity-building.
"The Memorandum aims to increase interaction between CMC and Huawei to increase opportunities for future cooperation, joint innovation, knowledge sharing, training courses and cybersecurity development for government agencies in Iraq,"stated CMC in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
" Huawei will support CMC in the field of cybersecurity based on the company's experiences in this area and share common experiences in order to systematically enhance the capabilities of employees and government officials,"the statement added.
Its to be mentioned,CMC is open to cooprerate with all companies specializing in ICT for the purpose of developing skills and enhancing cybersecurity capabilities.
