This brings the official Israeli army’s death toll to 13 soldiers in the last three days.

The announcement came after the Israeli army announced that its forces were launching an attack on the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, in an attempt to allegedly target a stronghold of the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas.

Over the past two days, the Israeli army announced the killing of ten of its soldiers, including officers, and this brings the official death toll to 414 since the beginning of the war on October 7.

On Wednesday, the Israeli army also announced that at least 100 soldiers were fully or partially blinded due to explosions and flying shrapnels.

Following the collapse of the temporary truce on December 1, Israel expanded its ground operation to the southern Gaza Strip.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees ( UNRWA ) had previously said that the number of displaced people in various parts of the Gaza Strip had reached about 1.9 million.

Since October 7, 16,250 Palestinians have been killed and more than 43,616 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
