Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani received today the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salah al-Din Muhammad Bahaa al-Din, and his accompanying delegation,” indicating that “the meeting witnessed a review of The most important files and issues at the national level, and the government’s efforts to provide services to citizens in all governorates.”

Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing the living conditions of citizens in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He emphasized the importance of ensuring regular payment of salaries and pensions to employees and retirees in line with the agreements made, emphasizing the need for strict adherence to these agreements.
Al-Sudani underscored the crucial importance of strengthening security and stability throughout Iraq. He expressed the government's commitment to providing full support to the Independent High Electoral Commission to ensure the success of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Parliament elections scheduled for next February.
