Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Naim Al-Aboudi said on Wednesday, that Iraqi institutions attach importance to climate change.
The Press Office of the Minister of Higher Education, received by the Iraqi News Agency INA, stated that "the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naim Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the Iraqi pavilion at the (Expo 2023 Doha) held in the Qatari capital, Doha, which specializes innovation and the fight against desertification."
"Iraqi institutions attach special importance to climate change, and they are working according to the perspective of integration to promote policies and programs that are in line with global results in this field," he said in his speech.
He added that "The inauguration of the Iraqi pavilion indicates keenness to contribute in confronting climate change in strategic ways that adopt the scientific method in implementing them."
