Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani confirmed today, Monday that the state agencies, with all their civil and security formations, will play their role for the success of the provincial council elections.
Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani received the Head of the Independent High Electoral Commission and the Head of the Electoral Administration."
According to the statement "Al-Sudani was briefed on the Commission's latest preparations to hold the provincial council elections scheduled for next December 18, and the completion of all basic requirements for the electoral process, to ensure fair and impartial elections that meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people."
“The state agencies, with all their civil and security formations, will fully play their role in order to make this important constitutional entitlement a success.” Al-Sudani said.
