Haniyeh: We were able to confront the occupation, break its will, and thwart its plans

The head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, confirmed today, Friday, that it is with great pride that we were able to confront the occupation, break its will, and thwart its plans.

Haniyeh said in a speech followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “It is with great pride that we were able to confront the occupation, break its will, and thwart its plans, and the martyrs are the price of freedom, liberation, and independence.”.

Haniyeh added, “We affirm our adherence to the unity of the people, the land, and the destiny, and we praise the Arab and Islamic position regarding rejecting any interference in the fate of the Gaza Strip,” expressing his thanks to Qatar and Egypt, stressing the need for continued international efforts to enable our people to achieve their aspirations. He continued, “We went through, under the auspices of the brothers in Qatar and Egypt, difficult negotiations.

” We managed it with responsibility and balance. Our great people wrote an epic story of steadfastness, and our mujahideen intensified the enemy’s wounds. The enemy agreed to the conditions of resistance and the will of our proud people, which led to reaching the truce agreement.”.
 
Haniyeh said, “We affirm our commitment to implementing the agreement and making it successful as long as the enemy commits to that, and we stand with all reverence and dignity before the families of the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners, and we salute our people in Gaza who, with their steadfastness and resistance, formed the pivotal element in the decline.” The position of the enemy and its allies.”
