Today, Wednesday, in the ministry building in Baghdad, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, received copies of the credentials of three new ambassadors to Iraq.
The Ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, received today, Wednesday, in the Ministry’s building in Baghdad, the credentials of three new ambassadors to Iraq, who are: Hamad Samir Helmy, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmed, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Andrea Nasi, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria.
The minister stressed, during his reception of the new ambassadors, according to the statement, that “Iraq looks forward to balanced relations based on strengthening political, economic and commercial cooperation, opening the door to investment, supporting international and regional coordination, reducing tensions and establishing peace in the region.”
