Interior minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari, directed on Wednesday, to continue educating school and university students about the dangers of drugs and extortion.
A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that " Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, chaired today a conference at the ministry's headquarters, which included the community police and the Directorate of Tribal Affairs, to enhance community security and draw advanced plans according to a clear and scientific methodology for work and joint cooperation between them.
Al-Shammari stressed according to the statement, "several recommendations related to the work of the community police and tribal affairs, including educating clans about the danger of the scourge of drugs, providing support and assisting elders who support the state and the law".
"The community police in Baghdad and the governorates will continue to educate school and university students about the dangers of drugs, extortion and other crimes, as well as solving community problems in accordance with legal frameworks," Al-Shammari said.
