Ministry of migration and displaced persons MDM announced on, Tuesday, the return of 127 displaced people to the provinces of Salah al-Din and Ninawa.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the minister of migration and displaced Evan Faeq Gabro announced the return of 127 displaced people from the Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk camps to their original areas of residence in Sinjar district in Nineveh Governorate and Yathrib District of Balad district in Salah al-Din governorate”, indicating that" the return process comes within the ministry's plan to end the file of displacement in the country and in line with the government program”.
According to the statement The minister confirmed that “The ministry's field teams included returning families with durable goods and relief assistance to encourage voluntary return, as well as providing them with all facilities and the requirements of a decent living", noting that "the ministry's teams continue to register displaced families who wish to return voluntarily in coordination with local governments”.
