The official spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, announced Tuesday, the departure of an Iraqi plane carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza.
“following the directives of the Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani and the Minister of Defense and Chief of Staff of the Army, the Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft took off this morning, carrying a shipment of food supplies of 11 tons and 280 kg, from the Martyr Muhammad Alaa Air base will land at Al-Arish Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, to deliver this aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip,” Rasool told the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"this aircraft is the fourth that departs from Iraqi territory to Egypt, and it is loaded with food and relief supplies to our people in Palestine," he added.
