Moscow: The dollar is constantly losing its leading position in the world

The chief Russian diplomat to APEC, Marat Berdyaev, indicated today, Friday, that the US dollar is constantly losing its leading position in the world.

During his participation in the APEC Summit, held in San Francisco, United States, Berdyaev warned of “the repercussions of the collapse of the American public debt,” and stated that “the crisis that will be created by the collapse of public debt in the United States will exceed the financial crisis that the country witnessed in the period 2007-2008.”.

He said: “The dollar is constantly losing its leading position in the world for objective reasons, especially in light of the American public debt. I believe that it is only a matter of time before it collapses, and this crisis, if it occurs, could exceed the financial collapse that the United States witnessed in the period 2007.” 2008".
