Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, revealed today, Friday, the most important projects scheduled to be opened in 2025, confirming that three new airports will be completed during the next year.
"The most important projects that will be opened during the year 2025 within the achievements of the services government headed by Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani are three airports (Nasiriyah International, Karbala International, and Mosul International),” Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement pointed out that "among the projects is the opening of the first phase of the Grand Faw Port and the opening of the Sawa-Hijama railway link project in Samawah Governorate, as well as the rehabilitation of the old railway and its return to operation in the Qaim area in the western governorates."
Regarding the development road, Al-Saadawi confirmed that “work is ongoing and continuing on the development road project to complete it.”
