World oil prices fell in trading today, Thursday, by more than 4%, after data recorded an increase in crude stocks in the United States last week.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell by 4.75% to $73.03 per barrel, while global Brent crude futures fell by 4.50%, to $77.54 per barrel.
American data revealed that "oil inventories in the United States rose by 3.6 million barrels during the past week."
