Iraq condemns Zionist bombing on Jordanian field hospital vicinity in Gaza

Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Thursday, the Zionist bombing in the vicinity of the Jordanian field hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency INA, that “the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns, in the strongest terms, the bombing carried out by the Zionist occupation , in the vicinity of the Jordanian field hospital in the Gaza Strip, which led to injuring a number of hospital staff while trying to treat injured Palestinians who were injured as a result of the ongoing bombing of the Gaza Strip.”

He clarified that "The continuing violations by the usurping occupation against hospitals and exposing medical teams to danger is an unacceptable and condemnable crime, and represents a clear and serious violation of the provisions of international and humanitarian law."

The Ministry expressed in the statement, its “solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,” calling on “the Security Council and the international community to intervene to stop these violations, which affect hospitals, medical infrastructure and their staff.”
