The Security Media Cell announced on Sunday, that Iraqi National Intelligence Service (INSS) was able to capture a network responsible for equipping ISIS hideouts in the so-called Kirkuk Wilayat.
The cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “In implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to pursue the remnants of the terrorist ISIS and within the framework of pre-emptive efforts aimed at cutting off supplies to terrorist nests in remote desert areas, and based on intelligence information and precise technical and field monitoring, the cell was able to The Iraqi National Intelligence Service arrested a network consisting of three elements headed by the terrorist called (Idris Raouf Muhammad Taha), the supply official in the so-called Kirkuk Province, and the main carrier of terrorist elements and linked to the general administration of the so-called Iraq Wilayat."
The statement added: "This group admitted to equipping terrorist dens with logistical support materials, distributing so-called bails to ISIS members, and carrying out reconnaissance operations for vital facilities in Kirkuk Governorate those arrested were duly referred to the competent judicial authorities."
