Hamas leader Mushir al-Masry confirmed that an agreement to exchange prisoners with the Zionist entity is imminent, but it depends on one condition that the entity did not accept.

He explained, “The Zionist entity rejects the condition for the movement’s leaders to leave Gaza Strip without harming them, which hinders reaching an agreement so far,” noting, “No official statements have been issued by the Zionist entity regarding the prisoner exchange agreement so far, and the United States had announced Yesterday, Thursday, he said, “It will begin implementing truces for a period of four hours in the areas of northern Gaza every day, with an announcement 3 hours in advance.” He continued, “The Zionist entity informed the United States that “there will be no military operation during periods of cessation of fighting,” describing This step is "in the right direction.".

He pointed out, "Two humanitarian corridors will be opened that will allow residents to flee the fighting in Gaza.".

The White House stressed that “more aid must enter to Gaza Strip,” noting that “Washington aims to enter at least 150 humanitarian aid trucks daily.”.

For his part, US President Joe Biden told reporters that he "is seeking to stop the fighting for 3 days in Gaza, and for a much longer period than that, so that the detainees held by the Hamas movement can be released.".
