Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced the distribution of 1,500 food baskets to returning families in Sinjar.
The Ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Under the direct instructions of the Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, and in implementation of the government program, the Ministry of Immigration and Displacement continues to distribute relief aid among families returning to their original areas of residence in Sinjar district in Nineveh Governorate, to encourage voluntary return.”
According to the statement "The Ministry's cadres distributed (1,500) rations of relief aid among returning families in the center of Sinjar District and Al-Qahtaniyah District (Tel Azir), which included food and health baskets," stressing that "its cadres will continue to distribute relief aid to returnees in Sinjar District."
