The Iraqi National Security Service INSS announced, on Wednesday, arresting 200 wanted during October.
INSS said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "within the series of continuous security achievements made by it in all provinces of the country and at various levels, INSS carried out qualitative operations during October 2023, resulting in the arrest of (32) accused of terrorism, (54) electronic blackmail, (57) drug dealers and promoters, in addition to the arrest of (55) people accused of promoting the banned Baath Party regime.
"The operations were carried out in accordance with judicial arrest warrants," the statement added, noting that "the arrestees with the seizures were referred to the competent judicial authorities to take the necessary measures against them.
