The Popular Mobilization Forces announced on Sunday that the Mobilization Forces’ intelligence had overthrown the commander of an ISIS detachment in Baghdad.
The authority stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “After a tracking operation, the intelligence and information in the Popular Mobilization Authority succeeded in overthrowing the commander of a terrorist detachment in the capital, Baghdad.”
According to the statement "The detachments of the General Directorate of Information in the capital, affiliated with the Intelligence and Information Assistant of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and through effort and follow-up that lasted for three continuous days, were able to track down one of the terrorist elements until he was arrested in Baghdad."
