Moscow: USA expels two Russian diplomats

A source in the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed the expulsion of two Russian diplomats from the United States, without providing any reasons, adding that the Russian side does not want escalation, but if the hostilities towards Russia continue, it will respond strongly and decisively.

The source said: “The American side continues to publish bad ‘leaks’ in the media, despite its assurances that it will not publish some of the measures taken.”.

He added: “We can confirm that Washington expelled Russian diplomats without reason, using the pretext of declaring two American diplomats involved in espionage activities and caught red-handed as persona non grata,” stressing: “We are not interested in escalation, but if such hostilities continue, As always, we will respond firmly and decisively."
