Defense Minister arrives in Ankara on an official visit

Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Al-Abbasi arrived in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on an official visit.

The Iraqi embassy in Ankara stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Iraqi Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Al-Abbasi arrived Wednesday evening , at the head of a high-level military delegation to the Turkish capital, Ankara, on an official visit in response to an invitation addressed to him by his Turkish counterpart, Yaşar Güler .”

The embassy added that  "Thabet Muhammad Al-Abbasi will be received with a military ceremony on Thursday, at the Turkish Ministry of Defense building in Ankara, and will later hold a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Yaşar Güler , to discuss issues of bilateral security and defense and issues of cooperation in defense industries."
